OPEN HOUSE EVENT, featuring the Attorney General Terry Goddard

The public is invited by the Area Agency on Aging to come and learn more about late-life domestic violence at its Domestic Violence Awareness Month event. The Open House event will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at the Area Agency on Aging located at 1366 E Thomas Road, Suite 108, Phoenix, Arizona, from 11am-2pm. 

At noon, a survivor of late-life domestic violence will share her story, and at 12:30pm, Attorney General Terry Goddard will speak on the subject.  Giveaways and informational materials about late-life domestic violence and the Agency’s DOVES® program will be available.  Graduates of the DOVES® program will participate in the event, and light refreshments will be served.  

Please join us to learn more about late-life domestic violence and elder abuse, what is being done in our community to address these issues, and, more importantly, what you can do to help.
