Support Groups

The Late-Life Domestic Violence Support Groups provide education and necessary support for victims of domestic violence who are 50 and older.   

The Area Agency currently provides several support groups throughout Maricopa County, located in Sun City, Mesa and Phoenix.

The groups meet weekly and address the cycle of violence, types of abuse, communication, self-esteem, and the impact of economic, social and religious beliefs on divorce or separation.

Group Counseling provides participants a safe environment. Members support each other in the decisions each are facing.  The group experience can often bring hope and humor to a seemingly hopeless situation.
